I'm a new owner of a Desire S. I'd be grateful if someone can tell me the answer to the following two questions please:

1. In the contact list, how can I get to a contact without scrolling down through the whole list?

2. When replying to a text, is it possible to add extra recipients? I know how to send to multiple receipients when composing a new text but not when replying to a text.

If you find the text you want to forward on to receipients,hit the 3 lines, 2nd button at bottom of phone, then hit ( ... more), this will tak you to a pop up, hit forward and then tap screen, you can then add the receipients at the top space.

Thanks but does that mean I can reply to the sender of the text only and then have to forward my reply to other recipients if I want them to see it. On previous phones I have been able to reply to the sender and at the same time add others who I want to receive my reply as well.

It's just like forwarding an email. You keep the original text of the message you're replying to and add as many contacts, including that of the original sender, that you want your message sent to. You'll only have to write the message and hit send once.

Try it. You won't have to send anything to see how it works.
