New vibrant owner needing help

I switched from a blackberry bold to the vibrant and need serious tutoring.
Biggest issue at moment is the calander. No idea how to use it, create appointments etc. When I tried an entered,,,I dont see them when I click on the day???? Should Ibe downloading calander app? I read some other complaints about it. Blackberry calander was simple when it came to appoinntments and work schedule. Hope things get easier soon.
Good weather app? other reccomended things?

lol just kiddin the vibrant is a very good phone i think u made a good choice in switching phones
as for the weather app the phone brings a preloaded app called daily briefing thats wat i use and for the calender idk i really dont use that

Calendar app, I have always used the default app, however, even with the Nexus S, I am considering Jorte:

For weather, I personally love Beautiful Widgets. I got the paid version, and I love the ability to customize off skins. You can also program what the widget does when you click certain parts, like if I click the clock, I'll go to my calendar, if I click the temp, it'll take me to the forecast, and I also have Rainy Days for the radar, so when I click somewhere on the superclock widget it will take me to the radar. It is nice feature to have, especially for the weather spotting that I love to do as well.
