Help "New WiFi" Logo in top left corner......?

Morning all.

This morning I noticed my phone was displaying a logo in the top left corner that I have not seen before.
It was the stanadard wifi logo but with the word "New" written across it.
I tried to tap it and it took me into my network settings where it showed me the wifi trying to reconnect to my home router.
It connected and all was fine.
It has now done it again on arrival at work.
Is this new or have I just not noticed it before............

I did get a little worried when I first saw it as I have just started tinkering with torrent on my phone

It is just telling you it has found a new wifi signal, nothing to worry about.

Usually that pops up when its found an open wifi signal, the fact that its connecting to your home wifi is irrelevent.

I've seen it a few times usually when i am out in coffee shops etc.
