It is WPA/WPA2 and it says nothing just spins continuously on that connecting ring ..... i left it for 7 hours on it the other day! Just wondered why it isn't connecting

turn off wifi and turn it back on.
long hold on your network and tap FORGET
then try again could be software could be hardware would usually say connection failed tho.

Tried it already its pretty poor considering i bought this phone instead of an i phone but im thinking of going to get one now

i got rid of my iphone since u cant send stuff via bluetooth its pointless for me i send stuff daily. My wi-fi works fine if its not connecting it could be your router.

ok mate if you can tell us what make of router it is because on my linksys id done the same as you and wouldnt connect .what i had to do was go into network magic which is part of linksys software now and add a device to the network and it worked a charm

Hi..
It might be worth changing wifi channel in the netgear and see if that makes a difference.Im connecting fine using channel 8.

its not them stupid black routers from virgin media is it they have a nwetowk lock and most phones cant connect to them.

it sounds like you need to authorise the wildfire in your routers settings you might be better off going on some netgear forums for how to do this

if ts is the black N router u need to type 192.168.0.1 into your computers browser and add the device from there.
