Help New Youtube App

So the new youtube app is only available for froyo but someone over at xda has ported it over for 2.1. has anyone tried it? if so, does it work on the moment? i'm being a wimp and don't wanna be the guinea pig to try it

updating ...works great!!!

deleted stock apk from recovery , cleared delvik cache copied the new you tube apk into system/app. reboot .. voila!!!

works great
much better than the old version

It stopped working for me. keeps forceclosing now

I deleted it and installed the EVO version

it's just the regular you tube but with the HQ icon on the play bar.

There was something said that if you log in with the new youtube app that you need to log out before closing or it causes the force close issues. Not sure if that helps anyone or not.
