Help Newbie for HTC Evo V Skype Question

I have yet to purchase the HTC Evo V, however, since I will have limited minutes ($35 plan) should I use the Skype App and how well does it work? Thanks!

Skype's app is very good and works over 3G, 4G, or WiFi. It is very usable if you want to save minutes. There are also lots of other apps that allow you to do data calling, like Viber and Fring just to name two.

Skype will work on 3g/4g/wifi. It's also ok on data usage. I would still try to limit it to wifi just to save data.
