Help newbie here and need help with txt/gmail notification tones

First of all want to say hello to all here and that I am a newbie to the forum and to the Cricket android ascend
I have the ascend with cricket, and I have a set of tones that are for text and email that I have used on other phones but when I put them in the notification Folder they do not show up on the phone it just shows the phones stock notifications, I can use astro to find the tones i put on there, but it will only let me set it to the ringtone.
So if anyone can help me figure out how to set them to my text and email I would be real greatful. Thanks

You can get rings extended from the market and it will allow you to use your ring tones you want

Found an app called RingMaker and it let me put my tones where i wanted them, Your tip helped me Big time
