Hi,
I'm new to the forums and relatively new to the andriod system. I've had my HTC EVO 4G for a couple of months now. I mostly love it but have found a bug or two. I'm an IT guy and a MS insider. I specialize in Windows Home Server/HP Media Smart Server and other MS OS's. Have my own Small Company amed Iguana Computers providing IT support, repairs and custom builds for small businesses and homes my area.
I love my work and have been using my cell phones as modems (what you now call 'Tethering' for the last 10yrs over the Sprint and Verizon networks.
One of my favorite tricks a few years ago was when I was totally off the grid and out of normal cell range in the Santa Cruz Mts California testing remote desktop in the WHS beta. I used an early cell phone amplifier, my cellphone, a program call Snap Sink Dialer, and my laptop, all powered from solar cells to log into my desktop at home in Mass and sent my self an email to California.
