Hello to the forum from a newbie.
In 1987 my cell phone weighed 5 pounds and cost $1000, a lot of money then. The ceo of the company where I worked at the time, AON, was so intrigued he borrowed it from me for a weekend and ran up a huge bill!
For ten years I had Blackberries and thought they were great. They never were much good as phones or for surfing, but email on the fly was great.
Just blew off Verizon for Tmobile's unlimited voice, text and messaging plan. My wife and I both sniped new in box Samsung Behold II's on ebay for $225/ea.
Now to learn the phones and the world of Android
