Help Newbie needing advice please

Hi all. I have just joined this forum today. I am thinking about purchasing the Milestone, I currently have the HTC HD2. I live in Australia and use the optus Netwrok, Can some please give some advice on where is the best place to buy the Milestone?

I have heard that there is a difference between the Droid and the Milestone, am I correct in saying that the Droid is CDMA and the Milestone is GSM? Are there differences in the firmwares?

you are right, and yes, there are some differences.
the Milestone lacks the facebook integration in the Address book and adds MotoNav navigation software. Not sure about the other differences.

Thanks for that mate. I think I might get it. I just sold my HTC HD2,it was a great phone but the sms bug just got too much..
