Lurker
I searched older posts but havent found a definative answer.

My daughter has the ALLY and it keeps giving her the error message that memory is full and she cant send texts or anything. She has deleted all apps and such, rebooted phone, installed a larger microSD card and still the same. Has anyone found a fix for this that works?? This phone is like new and I really dont have the money to shell out for a new phone.

Welcome to the forums!!! :)

Sounds like your caches are filled, and the phone isn't clearing them. Try this, power down the phone, wait about 1-2 minutes, then power back on. That might clear the cache and open up the phone again. Also you can try this app from the market:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.acc.free&feature=search_result

You "could" do a factor restore, which will wipe everything. It will put the phone back to the way it was when you first powered it on. You will loose all your recent calls and texts, unless you backed them up.

I know this helps on the Evo4G, but I'm not 100% sure it will work for your device. I've never had an LG phone. :o

I have tried those things and nothing. I just sent an email to LG support to see what they say....which I am sure is to buy a new phone. But if they tell me something useful I will post.

Anyone else with an idea while I wait??

I had that problem constantly on my Ally with stock rom. The only thing that worked for me was to delete a bunch of old txt messages.
