Newbie - Password Help

Hi All,

I have today received my new shiny HTC Desire as an upgrade from my iPhone 3GS.

So far so good and I love it.

Now I am the IT Manager for my company so as a test I setup an Exchange Activesync Policy that required a password, as I want a password as opposed to an Unlock Pattern.

So I thought setting it for simple passwords mininum of 4 characters would mean if I set a numeric password it would just come up with the number pad and not the full keyboard, but it doesn't. Is there a way to change this, but only for the password and not everything else?

If not I want to remove the Exchange Password, I tested this by removing the requirement for a password on the Activesync Policy, but it still has the password on the device, how can I now get rid of this?

Any help and suggestions greatly appreciated.

To apply the new security policy you probably need to delete the Exchange account from your phone and re-add it.

Or you could just install Lockpicker
