Help Newbie problem.... camera and sidewards uploads?

tonix

Lurker
Hi, I have just got myself a SE Ray, I love the phone - well, im still getting used to it, but so far so good.

The only problem I have found is, I take photos with the camera upload them to my PC, they all come out sidewards, fair enough, I rotate them all, then upload them to photobucket, and their all back sidewards again, rotate them again save them all, link them to a website im on, and yes, u guessed it, back sidewards.

Anyone know what the problem is with this?

Thanks in advance guys.

Welcome to Android Forums, tonix.

The pic orientation is a function of the position of the camera (landscape/portrait) when the pic is taken. Some 3rd party camera apps have menu configuration selections for displaying the pics as either landscape or portrait, no matter what mode it was in when the pic was taken.
