Newbie question about yellow triangle?

I was gonna ROM for the first time with Cyanogen mod, when I use my nandroid back up to revert back to stock will it have a yellow triangle? I am planning on selling the phone soon and don't need a yellow triangle

If your nandroid back-up contains the original, unrooted, kernel then you will not have the yellow triangle and will lose root.
