Without boring you with the details... my question is simply this. What would a fair price be for a good used Droid X on Ebay? I am looking to purchase outright. Is there anything I should be wary of aside from bad esn's? Thanks in advance.

Well, did you look around ebay to see what they are going for? That will probably give you an idea for what a good price is.

For grins I just did a check of some completed listings on eBay for Motorola Droid X phones. On average, it looks like used Droid X's are currently selling for between $300 and $350. Once the Verizon iPhone comes out I suspect you'll see this price drop...

A fair price for a phone is almost new condition from a reliable seller is about $300. I think it will drop to $200-$250 in a few weeks.

Looks like they are selling for around $300 to $400 right now. Shoot, bad ESN Droid Xs are selling for $175 to $250.

Just do a "Completed listings" search on eBay to see how much stuff is being sold for.
Click on advanced search and be sure to check the "Completed listings" box under "Search including". Anything listed with a green price sold for that amount, anything in red didn't sell before auction end time.
