Hi!
I'm new here and am looking to make an informed decision before moving from ios to android. One of greatest concerns is security. I feel like the ios platform is quite safe and free from threats to my security and/or identify theft. I worry about android in this regard, because of it being a more open platform.
Does android do the best job possible of protecting / securing my data? Do you know if apps like Dropbox or Evernote store data in an encrypted fashion on the device?
I know you can set the screen to lock automatically after not using it for a bit. But how customizable is this and does it reliably lock down the device in a prompt fashion? Is this screen lock trivial in nature, or really strong?
I'm asking all these security questions, because I keep a lot of personal and client information on my device and want to know it's safe.
