Newbie Questions

Hello All, I have a few questions I'm hoping you can answer for me. I'm thinking of getting the Galaxy S2 on AT&T and want to know:

1. In Notifications, does the calendar have a setting where it can display upcoming events for at least 7 days? iOS 5 only does 24Hrs. What god is that?

2. If I put the phone on silent at night, will the alarm still sound if I use it as an alarm clock? Dumb question I know, please bear with me.

If I think of any more questions, I'll ask them here. Thanks in advance! Just trying to do my research with people who know.

1. Yes. In addition to the standard month, week, day views there is a List view which displays all upcoming events in chronological order.

2. In silent mode it states "No sounds except media and alarms," so yet the alarm clock will sound but calls/texts/etc. will not.

Thanks very much for your answer. To be more specific, I'm wondering if that same list view is displayed in the Notification pane when you swipe down from the top? I just think it's easier to get to that info from anywhere as opposed to setting up a widget and going to that page... Thanks.

Just tested it with a friends Droid. Looks like I'll just have to get me a really cool calendar widget.

just got my Galaxy S II today... loving it so far!

Anyone know of a good sync tool for Mac that will recognize iPhoto EVENTS so I can just drag an event?
