1/. how to I add smilies to the stock samsung keyboard
2/. How do I make a favourite contacts number his default number so that when i click on him in my favourite list it will automatically call him rather than show me his contact information

for the smileys go to play store & download the emoji plugin
as for the call feature is I just swipe right on their name to call
or swipe left to text...

To add smileys in messaging ust hit your menu button and choose "insert smiley"

As far as contact info hold down the number you want as primary and on the drop down menu select set default. Then when you go to your favorites just swipe right and it will call the default number you've set

for smileys i use GO SMS PRO.....you can send to GS3 and iphones and they will see your smileys
