Hi, I am new to this site so please bear with me. Question I have is this; I have just got myself a HTC Desire HD to replace my HTC Hero. How do I transfer apps? I am now using a different phone company. Many thanks for any and all help and advice.

Welcome to the Android Forums.

Unless you used something like Titanium to back up all your apps, the easy answer is to reinstall the apps. As long as you sync with the same gmail account, all your paid apps will install without paying. It doesn't matter that you've switched carriers.

May apps store their data and settings in the SD card, so if you swap the SD card out of the Hero into the Desire, you shouldn't lose too much.
