Picked up this phone on Friday and can't seem to put it down. So much to learn after three years on my BB Storm. I am completely STUPID all over again. :confused:

A couple of quick comments/questions. I really do not like the music player that comes with the phone. No option (or none that I could find) to reorder songs in your playlists. And I can't just drag and drop my play lists onto the phone from my Mac (iTunes). I downloaded the Spinlet music player. It isn't much better if at all. Are there any other music apps out there?

How Mac-friendly is this phone? It seems my Mac will recognize it as a storage device. Is that it?

There are TONS of wonderful music apps out there. As for the storage thing, the sd card can be used as a usb mass storage device thingee. So thats why the mac thinks that.

That's good to know. Because I do have a large amount of music I need to get organized onto this phone.

Any apps you enjoy for your phone?
 
It took me a few weeks for it to grow on me, but I have grown to love DoubleTwist. I love the fact that it can play my videos and music. The app is very user friendly, and also offers a decent amount of radio stations as well. For free it's definitely worth a shot.

My next question is where do I move/store my music so that I can use the songs as ringtones???? As it stands none of my music shows up as ringtone options.

Just downloaded DoubleTwist as you a previous poster suggested. From the looks of things I have a feeling I will be enjoying this app as much as I enjoy your avatar! ;)

don't drag and drop the play list drag and drop the songs in a folder called Music
 
Ok where can I get that wall paper I can't find it not live anyhow. But to the OP. Download Ringdroid and turn your songs into ringtones and it saves them into the correct location.
 
I vote you return your fascinate and get a droid x or incredible. Samsung has not yet put out 2.2 for our phones and we have no idea when it's coming.

Oh wait... that wasn't the question.

Oh well, you should do it anyway! I love the look and hand feel of my fascinate but if I had the chance, I'd take it back in a minute! Lack of updates for our phone has gotten to me.
