news and weather widget cache

[SSinisterSS]

using the widget to read stories is draining the memory down on me, has anyone found a way to clear the cache for it? clearing the browser cache doesn't do it, and I have 5mb that's gone from reading the stories.

thanks

If you have the widget running, you can go to Settings...Applications...Manage Applications...Menu...Filter by "Running" Scroll untill you see the News widget, tap it and you can clear the cache in there. You can also get an app called "CacheMate" that will clear it's cache for you too.

it doesnt show it in the list of applications where you can delete them (cause they have a button to clear cache on other apps)
