Help Nexus 10 Accessories

Oh, I think you are referring to the Moko folio case that has leather framing all sides; I was talking about the Moko that just has the tiny corner clips. Mystery solved. :)

I was looking at that one too:

Amazon.com: MoKo Slim-Fit Multi-angle Folio Cover Case for Google Nexus 10 Android Tablet by Samsung, BLACK (with Smart Cover Auto Wake/Sleep Feature): Computers & Accessories

I just do not like that clip that sticks up in the front of the case. I figure if Google ever puts one out, I will probably order that one too (if it is close to the one that they have hinted at). And I need one that will fit in the dock (if it ever comes out too).

That's why I almost went with that one. :) I really do like the Moko I have though. It feels like quality and the flip back stand is perfect. There are 1 or 2 little nitpicks. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Waiting to see what you have done...mine should be on the way shortly.

Hi...

I am thinking of getting a good keyboard for my N10. The idea is to not carry my laptop everywhere. I have a good desktop at work and my laptop would remain at home. What would you recommend? The quality of the keyboard is important because, in many ways, I write for a living. I don't mind paying for a high-end keyboard which I think would end up being cheaper than buying a new laptop anyways. So, please give me your recommendations.

Thanks

Edit: I am looking at this one, for instance:http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Keyboard-Windows-Android3-0-920-004569/dp/B009JPBPWO/ref=pd_sim_e_2

Edit2: Well, I got myself a Logitech keyboard which was made - apparently - for the iPad, but which via BT - seems to work equally well with the Nexus 10.

Which Logitech did you get?

Just got mine in the mail today. It has cut outs on the side for the speakers. There is no reason to have to modify it in any way. It is almost identical to the one for my More 10.1 but it feels like it is made of cheaper material for the cover. It is a much lighter black too, almost grey.

That looks good. I wish Google/ Samsung do hurry up and flood the market with some good accessories for the N10 - like Apple has done for the iPad. It's kinda ridiculous that they would not do so. Of immediate interest would be a Pogo charger, a dock (preferably with a good keyboard), keyboards, hard cases using the strip on the back of the N10, among other things. I just wonder if these things will actually happen. Though I understand that a dock for the Nexus 7 is soon to be released! See here.

Edit: I don't know why, but I don't really like leather or faux leather cases. I had one for my Acer A500 and it felt too bulky. But then again, the A500 was a bulky (and heavy) machine!

The problem is that's not where the speakers are. Does yours have the same volume in the case as it does out of the case?

I have played videos from YouTube, Play Movies and personal videos and they all have the same volume in the case and out.

Here are some comparison photos between the Nex 10 case and the Note 10.1:

Nex 10 case still feals a little cheaper than the Note 10.1. They are both the same model from Moko.

I would love to see some accessories from Google for this tablet. I have two docking stations for my Verizon GNex. One I ordered straight from Samsung before they discontinued them and the other a guy was nice enough to break his order apart on Swappa and sell me the other one. I love docking with the POGO pins, it is so much nicer.

Hmm .. maybe there's something different about mine, or maybe its just my ears. :D

I posted some pics above....let me know if you would like to compare different angles. I had my son help compare the volume....since I am an old man and too many concerts from back in the day have done some wear and tear.

I'm familiar with that. :D

I took some pics of mine but haven't gotten around to posting. I still like the case but, mine at least, is a little too tall in the landscape position. The power and volume buttons are below the top of the case and the navigation buttons at the bottom are right at the edge of the case. It can be a little difficult tapping one sometimes.

Still waiting to see Google's case. What's the deal Google?

Yea, there is a lip to get over to get to the buttons and I have noticed that trying to get the pull down menus has been a little tricky sometime. I am definitely going to leave the feedback for Moko. Maybe they can improve the case for future users. I still like having the protection on now, feel a little safer. Glad to see you have gotten your replacement!

I agree! If it is convenient, do you think you could post some pics for the docks? Thanks

Yeah, I got it. Another replacement is shipping this week and I'll be sending this one back too. This one has light bleed, with a yellow tint, coming out about an inch from the bottom corners and going halfway up the screen. I was going to try and live with it but its just too intrusive when watching a movie.

Hoping 3rd time's the charm.

Fingers crossed for you man! As much as you help people here on the forums, Google should be providing you with a free Nex 10 as a token of appreciation!

Could the MS Surface keyboard be used with the nexus?
They both have pogo pins after all on the bottom.
If no support ordinarily could an app/ROM/mod enable it?

DruDog i got the same case as you... the only gripe i have is that the magnet doesnt always wake/sleep the tablet however that very well could be a software bug but overall i love the case as well.
