Help Nexus 4 boot loader will not unlock

[Mike Morgan]

I found a video on how to unlock a nexus 4 boot loader using a mac and opening a terminal in mac. My only problem is that the terminal doesn't recognize my phone. In other words, my phone will not connect to the terminal and will not listen to any commands typed into the terminal. Any advice on this? Please and thank you.

Hey Mike, welcome to our AndroidForums!

How about trying a different cable and/or a different USB port?

You're using fastboot, right?
