Nexus 4 watering hole

Has anybody had any weird behavior?

So far I've heard of random reboots, rattling in the camera and (mine) wifi troubles.

When I first booted up, my wifi connections were constantly dropping, but the more i use it, the better its been.

I only use wifi at work, where there is no cell service (not even for Verizon), but it has been better than my GS2.

I've had a couple problems with Tasker running exit tasks, Bluetooth enabling sometimes, but that is about it.

Oh, and as of today play.google.com says I have no devices. I get on my phone download an app, update apps, etc then log in on a browser and still says I have no devices :confused:


Edit: guess it has changed. Before it quit working it listed my phone as Nexus 4, now that it started working again it says "T-Mobile LGE Nexus 4" :confused::confused::confused:
 
Boy this thread sure has been quiet. Everybody having too much fun with their phones? Or has the Holiday juggernaut ruined shifted everyone's priorities?

Both, combined with work, house work, and the other 1000 or so threads I'm subscribed to :eek:

But really, I was hoping this thread would have taken off like the Galaxy Nexus one did. Maybe in a couple months when ordering a Nexus 4 isn't such a problem there will be more activity here

Are any more carriers besides T-Mobile supposed to be getting these? I would think that after the initial rush the demand would drop off precipitously.

There are reports of people who ordered during the second round that are receiving shipping confirmations already. While there probably will be some who won't get a Nexus 4 under the tree, I'd bet most will.

Personally, I plan on boxing mine back up, giving it to my wife to give to me and then acting all surprised on Xmas morning when I unwrap it. :p

It's a beautiful piece of hardware at an amazing price.
I'm guessing VZW will never carry another Nexus device, sadly. If Samsung and Apple can produce the same device to cater to all carriers (and LTE to boot), I hope Google will do it next time around.
 
I wouldn't blame Google for what VZW did to the GNex (Well, okay, maybe a little. After all, they let them muck it up.) VZW crapped on the Nexus and then stepped in it. It's going to take a while to scrape that stink off their shoes.
 
I ordered mine when they opened up the ordering process for the second time (almost two hours of frantic clicking later, I had an order in).

Google sent me a tracking number on 11/30, but the number has never actually tracked anything. After five days I finally called customer service and the guy said he thinks someone printed a bunch of labels but they haven't actually shipped anything yet! Annoying.

Anyone else receive a UPS tracking number but stuck in limbo like me?
 
is there any way to factory reset it by just pressing the volume and power buttons?

Screen's smashed, touchscreen broken, selling on ebay so need it reset

You can reset it via fastboot on a PC.

Fastboot oem unlock does a reset, then fastboot oem lock to relock it if you want
