Nexus 6 raw dimensions vs Note 3

Hey guys,

I tracked down the height and width of the Nexus 6 from Motorola's website and made a 2D cutout from cardboard just to get an idea of how large it is... As I was it measuring out and I was going up the marks on the ruler, It kinda just kept going up and up haha its a big phone. Obviously this cut out is Just 2D and doesn't give an accurate representation of how the phone will actually fit in the hand, but it gives you a good idea.

Nexus 6 Dimensions:
Height: 159.3mm ( 6.27 inches)
Width: 83.0 mm ( 3.15 inches)

Note 3 Dimensions:
Height: 151.2mm
Width: 79.2mm

So motorola - lenovo is making the nexus 6. interesting.

Height wise, it's probably right on part with the Note 4. I wonder why they made it taller with the same size screen as the 3?

I think the metal construction had something to do with that. Couldnt be sure tho...

Yeah, the dimensions are in the range of the iPhone 6 plus, except wider due to the 6 inch vs. 5.5 inch screen.

Very, very close to the G flex (seems to be the closest, for those that want to have an idea of the size).
