Help Nexus 7 (2013) speaker crackling

So I just got my nexus 7 and it seems to want to crackle at low volumes does any one know if this is normal? Or how I can fix it?

I think I'd report it as a fault anyway - who know: if enough people complain they might actually recall and fix it ..
