nexus 7 newbe

I just downloaded a movie from Google Play on my phone (don't have my N7 with me) and it was saved in sdcard\Android\data\com.google.android.videos\files\Movies\c3Ryb2xsaW5icEBnbWFpbC5jb20 as a WVM file. I tried to copy that to my computer and play it but it only plays for a few seconds then stops.

I have copies google play movies from same location to external sd on my sgt 3 8.0 and theg play fine. I did this with the movie elf that google away for free over the holidays.

Thanks to all that responded to my original post, have gleaaned so good info to file away in the old memory bank, hope tha I don't lose the pointer to it. Lol
I originally thought that thee names of the book title were encripted using some bizarre algorithm, why this might be, I haven't a clue.
After spending a lot of time dicking around for a solution, I ran the play books app on the S4 and lo and behold my books appeared, who would have thunk it. I guess the old adage of a blind pig finding an acorn once in awhile may be true, I do know one thing, I would much rather be lucky then good. Good card layer win once in awhile, but lucky ones win most of the time. Now if only I can win one of the big lotto pots, I would be good to go.

Regards,

Read it today, found my acorn yesterday, either way it's all good.
Tried to offload some apps to my sd card, could not,, did not get the "move to device storage" option to do so. Discovered that S4's from ATT, and Sprint had this capability because of a software upgrade, my S4 is from T-Mobile and just guessing does not have that software version installed. My version is Jellybean 4.2.2:D

Pure Android does not allow you to store applications on a SD card. Samsung may have "rigged" something that allows this but most current Android devices only allow you to store media on a SD card (movies, books, music, etc.).

I've been having the same issue on my Nexus...

A Nexus device with an SD card? I don't think so, you may want to check that. I don't know of any Nexus device has an SD card slot or will accept one.
