Nexus 7 rant thread

My second "rant": Chrome does not support Flash. Using Xscope which is a great browser, but how Google/Adobe could not include flash with so many sites still using it is beyond me.

My N7 is great because I don't have to be rooted and use:
ssLauncher
Xscope
Solid Explorer
K9
Dropbox

Most apps that are claimed not to work, work just fine. Just side load the game and see if it works. I have done this with 4 apk's now, and only one of them has the stretched phone screen look. All the rest work perfectly.

But back on topic: SD Card, Flash Player option, and inductive charging (the HP Touchstone equivalent). These would have been nice.
What does side load mean and how do you side load? Do you have to be rooted to side load?

My rant:

- No SD card
- No HDMI output
- No flash (so no BBC iPlayer and lots of sites that won't work with it).

I know flash is on its way out but Adobe pulled it from the Google Play store very prematurely IMHO. Looking at this thread tonight is the first I've seen of any build quality issues (and I know a few people who've bought one and had no need to get it replaced).

I hate not having flash. Well let me say this, I have flash installed BUT Google chrome doesn't support it so anything in chrome that needs flash you are unable to see.
