Help Nexus 9 not charging

So, I got nexus 9 as a gift last year. Now, it randomly stopped charging two days ago. When I plug in the charger, it says its charging but even though 1 hour passed, the battery percentage was still same. I don't know if its the charger's problem or my tablet's problem. Any clue what's going on?

Have you tried using a different charger?

...and/or a different cable?

Also, check that there is no dirt/debris in the charging port (you might need a magnifying glass to help with this).

Well, I have tried with nexus 7 charger but no good. My friend is expert at computer repair and he told me it may be a battery problem.

I asked HTC customer support and they told me that battery repair will cost 120 dollars (WTF!?). I am not really sure if its the battery's problem though....

If you've tried a known working cable and it doesn't work, then there's no question that you need it sent in for repair.
