Nexus Dock....

well the nexus 7 is getting a dock next month so hopefully the Nexus 10 dock will fallow soon... anyone have any info?

It looks like the one for the N7 could ship Jan 10 at a price of $40. I would guess the N10 dock would go around $60. If we ever see one. I haven't seen any word on one or any other 'official' accessory for the Nexus 10.

Such a bummer! Unbelievable actually!
if one wants to learn how cripple ones onwn products, one needs to look no further than Google. It's actually amazing that they don't support or encourage the development of accessories to what is arguably their signature line and what they themselves claim is a reference product for the android world. Simply put, they are crazy!

While it may not have the extra official bling, its still a great tablet and I wouldn't give it up for a different one that has its own case, dock, kitchen sink, fruity logo etc. :D

No question about it. I love the N10 and I don't particularly like fruits. Just saying...the minimal and necessary accessories would enhance the UX.

I want a dock with 4 USB ports, micro sd card slot, HDMI port, speakers and a cup holder.

Samsung charged $89.99 for the GNex one and it only charges and has an audio out. That kind of hardware would cost more than the tablet.

I bought an universal dock for 7" tablets at Walgreens for $5 on a whim. It stands it up, two audio ports, batteries or plugged in, and has 4 built in speakers that sound really good... Lol. Best $5 ever

Docks can get expensive. Other than adding speakers I am satisfied with the BT keyboard/case I now have. the output of the system is ok in low background noise enviorment but even people having a normal conversation can make it hard to hear the tablet. Maybe I'll need to try some ear buds..................

I got my first one as a Fathers Day gift from my youngest. The second one I found on Swappa. Someone was selling a GNex with it and he was kind enought to split it up and sell at a greatly reduced rate (then his phone sold 20 min later because it was the cheapest one listed - Win/Win).
