Help Nexus doesn't show contacts when dialing!

[ggrande]

Am I missing somethiing or does the Nexus S 4G not show contacts when dialing the phone? When I dial on my EVO it suggests contacts as I type, is there a way to enable this on the Nexus S 4G?

Would love to know this too. I've been having to use the search function to find contacts first.

Try dialer one, touchpal, or takephone:

Dialer One - Android app on AppBrain

You are looking for functionality that was a part of senseUI. I ran into that when I switched away from senseUI also.

That's why I suggested some third-party dialers that have some of that same functionality

I discovered the brilliance that is speech recognition in gingerbread and very rarely actually use the dialer anymore. I do use Animated Widget for my frequently used contacts for when I don't want to talk at my phone.
