Nexus live wallpaper

So I really like the nexus s live wallpaper. The one that has the colored lines going vertical and horizonal. My only question is has any see the effects of using this wallpaper on your battery? I really want use the wallpaper but if it really drains the battery no thanks.

I've used the amoebas wallpaper for months now, and my battery still makes it through a day easily with light to moderate use.

The screen will be your biggest battery leech, so weather or not the background is using up a few CPU cycles really doesn't make much of a difference; however, some live wallpapers can be more battery intensive if they pull from the internet for example (ie: weather wallpapers).

+ you can try a custom launcher like GoLauncher EX [v2.3.x] or Nova Launcher [v4.0.x] and enable the "Static wallpaper scrolling" option to really enhance the speed [transition] and batt. life on your NS !

What brightness do you set your nexus s to?

My brightness is set to automatic. I tried using the lowest brightness for a while, but honestly, it doesn't save much battery compared to automatic.
