I had a hard time believing that this phone was NOT going to see light of day with Verizon.
You know with that partnership thingy & all that Google & Verizon announced back on October 6, 2009.

Verizon is a great carrier to help increase the number of android devices used in today's wireless world.
(An achievement Google is working hard to make happen, they want Android Devices EVERYWHERE )

Will be interesting seeing how Google & Verizon market the NeXus One.
Could you imagine seeing a NeXus One commercial during a commercial break during the Super Bowl?

I know, I know...
Probably too early, just a cool fantasy of mine...
you know, since they're saying "spring" & all for Verizon.
Will wait for some more official news/proof etc. to come to light.

You're our inside guy! I take it you don't have a good idea of when this phone is actually hitting Verizon? Spring 2010 seems pretty conservative.

eris getting 2.1 first? inside guy? he claimed the new htc phone would be coming mid january to verizon (as he says he works there).. then changed his mind to april...

then tells me that the sholes tablet is due 'VERY SOON' and he was gonna trade in his droid, then not a word from him to follow up... unless i hear from motorola about this 'very soon' tonight, i dont think theres much 'inside' from this guy.

Day 1 this come out on Verizon, my order is in. This is going to be a killer wait. They better hurry though, because this is Google's chance to bring in a ton of people who want this level of phone through Verizon, but once the iPhone gets Verizon (you have to figure that will happen at some point), Google could lose a lot of customers to that. So, get on your horse Google and Verizon and put this thing out!! My credit card is ready to roll!

Even if the iphone doesn't move from AT&T, they Will introduce a new version this summer. They need to get ahead of this.
