Nexus One Genie Widget

Weather widget doesnt allow for setting up multple cities. It will only show you the temp in your current city. Thats a big drawback for me.

Would love to know what you are doing right or What I am doing wrong

With this widget running my phone "awake time" continued to climb after putting the phone to sleep. I tried this using a simple 5 minute test a 2 hour test and a few in between. Same results each time.
As soon as I killed the widget and made sure all associated processes were killed, the phone "Up time" only increased the std 5 to 15 seconds while sleeping. The same results happened when I was testing beautiful widgets.

To test I made sure other all Non essential running apps were all killed - Using a Combination of Advanced task manager and Quick System info. Then opened "menu>Settings> About Phone> Status> Awake Time - Wrote down the Number then hit the Red End button on phone, waited the predetermined time - woke the phone, which, as you know leaves you on same page you put it to sleep on and checked the "Awake Time" Duration. On each test this number Increased bye at least 60% to as much as 90%. And As I stated when I disabled the Widget... The phone slept as intended = The "Awake" time Didn't increase.

So yes, Either I have a bad phone or some other problem, or perhaps your results weren't exactly as you stated. Either way I'd love to fix this if it's possible

That Said, I stand by my original critique of the app The weather Function is Nothing special and I can now add a 2nd Complaint - The News feature, though well intended is all but worthless to these "Getting Older Eyes" You cant Utilize the built in zoom feature on any of the web sites it links to when reading them!
However If I go to the same website in the std browser Find the article, I can then read It Comfortably zooming as needed.

this , I am sure isn't a big deal to the Intended market segment of these phones and certainly, the majority of the people in this forum. But, to me, its a deal breaker
 
Thanks for the upload man. Looks really cool. I'll use it for a bit and see how I like it compared to my current set up.

Does anyone know of a Google Reader widget? Or to make this Genie access ONLY my Google Reader news?
