So yesterday it's paid apps...today its the Nexus One. If you go to google.com/phone you no longer get the "not available in your country" tag. You can buy a GSM model of the phone for use on Rogers!!

Ordered mine already. Can't wait to get it.![]()

Well rate now 529.00 USD = 536.153 CAD Then $30 for shipping.. I wonder if their is TAX on the cost of that or not? or if its included in the price... or where its shipping from Canada or in the US.
On my email confirmation receipt it shows TAX = 0
I just hope that CRA doesn't come in and add TAX on top of it. I have a feeling that it will. Let's see. :|
When the UPS comes with the package and you sign for it, you need to pay for the tax before they hand over the package, lol. That's what I've noticed when I order stuff from south of the border.

Actually, it's shipped via DHL and you can expect to pay brokerage fees, duties (I'm guessing it's not made in North America) plus GST+PST / HST when it gets to your door.Yep, you better have a CC or some cash on hand when UPS delivers. You can bet they will be collecting the GST at a minimum. For those of you with HST, you will be getting dinged for that.

You will have to pay tax when they deliver it.. most likely...On my email confirmation receipt it shows TAX = 0

I just had a quick look on ebay and saw a BNIB N1 with a Buy It Now price for ~$622.
You're right, forgot about that. Good deal though if you're in the GTA and can use Wind for 3G access.Remeber the one on Ebay will only run on rogers Edge network.
$650 is what I get
How do you get to that I got this... $529 + $30 Shipping + $90 Tax and Custom charges = $650
not $750 I might be of by a few but only by 5 or 10 dollors.
as of Rate now $529 USD = $534 CND

The commenters seem to think the brightness settings were indeed not set the same. Who knows.Doh! I hope that this is something which can be fixed relatively easily. Let's hope.![]()
