The URL on Play Store went live but it's showing no inventory available for me. Others are seeing US only (but I'm in US).

Has anyone been able to order? If so let us know, share a screenshot, and keep us updated!

I was able to snag 2 Nexus Players and 2 Gamepads. I didn't want to wait and risk them going out of stock... we all know how quickly that can happen. Here is my delivery status showing in Google Play Store.

CAN'T WAIT!

I'm seeing a preorder button that takes me to the Play Store page that shows a "Add to cart - $99.00" button

I'm in China, so that's very much it for a Nexus Player for me. Could one run a VPN on one of these things? - with Google being banned in the PRC, like I do with my regular Androids.

I got my order in yesterday. Got email confirmation that it ships in 3 to 4 weeks. Hope that the FCC thing doesn't delay it more than that.

I was able to order one yesterday, but it said I wouldn't be charged until it ships. I got charged today, but status doesn't show shipped. Anyone else get charged already? Is it possible they are shipping much earlier than anticipated?

I didnt get shipping info yet, however my status has changed. Previously said 3-4 weeks.
Ordered launch day (Oct. 17) before it was taken offline pending FCC cert.

Earlier yesterday I checked on this and it said that it ships on the 14th. Updated last night and now is on it's way today. It actually will be here today!

That's a lot faster than I expected and gives me hope to see my Nexus 6 ship before the 21st! :)

Mine has shipped (got tracking info), changed from leaving warehouse on the 14th to shipped, set to arrive on Tuesday 11/11/14 now.

Also already got code for my $20 play store credit, and added it to my account.

The Player was packaged exceptionally well. In comparison the ASUS game controller that arrived in the same shipping box, looked to have been packaged by grade schoolers.

I have it connected and setup went smoothly. I need to begin testing the capabilities of it. Anyone know if this can interface with and possibly control any DVRs?

The two controllers I purchased showed up packed extremely well. Over packed.

Now if I only had the two consoles I ordered to ship I could take them out of the packaging...

GOT IT!

And I have to agree: the packaging is quite impressive. I'm hoping to replace my aging Sony NSZ-GS7 Internet Player with Google TV (Android 3.2 I think) but the Nexus Player absolutely, must must MUST have Amazon Prime Instant Video on it or installable... or all bets are off with the Darling Bride.

Is anyone here able to confirm that the Nexus Player is, in fact, compatible and plays nice with Amazon?

EDIT: I have it all installed and running and I can confirm...

Amazon Instant Video is NOT supported

So guess what? The old Google TV stays around on its own, separate input just for Amazon... while the Nexus Player has ANOTHER input for Netflix or Google Movies (for which we have the included $20 credit and nothing else).

Another HUGE learning curve for the technologically-declined Darling Bride :(

I got mine about a month ago and I'm loving it! Tempted to move it to my bedroom and put my Samsung BluRay in the living room for the kids.

Or maybe a new one just for me!:D

My wife and I cut cable last month and picked one up...then returned it because of an error (something Google couldn't figure out). Netflix and Google Play would not play videos. At all.

So we got a second one and I sniffed out the HDCP problem (a crappy HDMI switch hooked up to the other port, so I just disconnected it)...then returned it because something was wrong with the hardware. Audio would play and then shut off for a few seconds (yet the track would keep playing) and once it kicked back on, it was where it should have been had the audio not quit. Video playback did the same thing, but also froze the video.

So I got a third one, and this one seems to work. (In all likelihood, the first one probably worked just fine, but Google told me to take it back to Best Buy and try a new one.) A little disappointed with the lack of apps on the stock OS, but I'm sure more are coming (and I can sideload some if I need to, I'm sure).

Once the Sling TV app is ready to go, I'll be a very happy camper.
