Help Nexus resetting when making or receiving calls??

The majority of the time whenever I make or answer a call the phone freezes and resets? Anyone experienced this or know of a fix?
The phone has already been to my providers (phones4u) authorized repair centre who have evidently played with it (when I sent it away it had ICS 4.04 on it, now it has 4.02) but couldn't fix it. Phones4u are now instructing me to send it back to the repair centre. Getting a bit annoyed with this service and phone!!

At this point, I'd seriously ask them to replace it with a new one (or refurb if they have to). It sounds like a bizarre problem that's either hardware or SIM related.

Mine used to reset almost every time I typed in a URL or added a contact to compose an email in Gmail.

All of the crazy unexplained reboots stops when I started using custom ROMs.
