Help Nexus S and GTalk Problem

Anyone having a problem with GTalk on the Nexus S?

It seems to be logging off and staying logged off. I can still send messages, but I cant receive them and they end up sending to my gmail. The email says that these messages were received while you were offline.

GTalk always worked fine on the Nexus One...is it Gingerbread causing the probelm?

I just got my Nexus S yesterday and haven't had any issues with google talk. I use it all the time on my phone so I'd notice if it ever logged out and kept me offline. I've gotten the "messages received while you were offline," before. It was actually not a phone problem, but a gtalk issue where you're signed in on a computer either invisible or signed in..sort of a glitch. Try using the "sign out all sessions" on a computer and then sign into gtalk on your nexus S

edit: should have clarified that when i said I got the msg before, I meant on my nexus one, not nexus S

I had the same problem, which seems to have more to do with the wifi connection than anything else. I have been able to Talk but occasionally lose the connection.

I'll try to sign out of all sessions...thanks for the replies.

I think it might be a weak connection on my end too...

I've had the S for a full day and used Gtalk a bit, didn't notice this problem. Must be something with your settings or location.

Pay attention to your signal bars when this happens for me please
I notice this happening on mine when the signal bars turn gray instead of Greene curious if you see the same

Green means that it is connected with Google, gray means its not.

I dont really have a problem with that though...sometimes, when mine is green i still cant send or receive messages.

I wonder if a new sim will fix this.
