i followed nexusshacks.com website to root my nexus s Ok ive gone up to the fastboot flash recovery section as it says and when i try restart phone hangs on the google with padlock like all others and i can access recovery but cant do anythin else cant put anythin on phone as the computer wont recognize anythin as its not got far enough what can i do can i go back a step or anythin?

Plug in your nexus s to the computer then if its not being recognized go to your device manager select unknown usb device and right click then select properties and uninstall drivers or reinstall drivers ultimately you will need to reinstall them by the sound of your situation, this will work if you use a windows pc then you follow the rest of your instructions.
