Nexus s....So jealous

Using that same argument with a car, if any non essential items that are listed on the car specs, navigation system, stereo, power doors for vans, cargo area light, climate control, remote entry, illuminated switches, illuminated vanity mirrors, map lights, remote fuel door and trunk release, if any of these doesn't work, don't complain. These items doesn't make a car.

So after buying that expensive luxury sedan with the cool satellite navigation system you realize that the navigation system is defective you just smile and tell yourself, gosh I could have bought a cheaper one without the sat-nav, but hey the Navigation system doesn't make the car.

Well said.

On another note, reading this thread makes me not so jealous anymore. Sure the dual-core would be nice to have, but everything else about the phone doesn't do it for me. I like my sturdy N1 with the trackball. I'll wait another year to see if a Nexus 3 comes along.

See, we tried to warn everybody NOT to jump on the Sammie wagon based upon what happened to us with the Behold 2...but noooooooooo!

They all yelled that Sammie wouldn't dare disappoint a world-wide audience and risk worldwide anger etc etc and blah....

When will you learn????

but the new one is so shiny!

not enough people spend the time to research a phone before they buy, or aren't even aware of forums like this. the marketing is all they really go off of. i stopped buy a t-mo store to take a look at the mt4g and g2. the sales guy tried telling me the vibrant was one of the best reviewed phones ever! sounded convincing too. so, the average consumer who goes to the store, plays with a few phones for 10 minutes and makes a decision. plus, how many people purchased a galaxy s phone as their first android device think that that is just the way android is.

i was lucky enough to go find postings by behold II customers who hated samsung and returned my vibrant. however, the vast majority of consumers won't figure it out within the grace period and get stuck with the phone. if samsung and google put enough marketing dollars behind the nexus s it will sell like the galaxy phones did. hopefully google will have more stringent quality control process for the nexus s. otherwise, the samsung cycle of selling crap will continue...

Oh for crying out loud. In every single f***ing topic that involves Samsung, there is always a person complaining about this or that. How about you guys just not post anything? Really, it's not difficult to do.

Why don't you simply not read the posts...Really, it's not difficult to do! SOME people want to KNOW when to avoid a product that has given people a tremendous amount of trouble. If that is not you...then keep it moving. No one is forcing you to read posts. If people had listened to the Behold 2 users and researched what happened, they could have avoided their current woes by avoiding the product. But stop me from posting about a menace? Not going to happen. I suggest you get over the fact that in the opinion of some users that Sammie is not that great and we are not taking lightly that they screwed people over. Learn to develop a thicker skin or use the ignore feature cause, Sammie has some vocal disgruntled former users.

+1 - the whole point of a forum is to talk about our experiences with different phones. if you don't like it, go to a samsung fan club.

Precisely. That was probably someone trying to do makeshift damage control. They have people in the forums. They would be better served by delivering a product that works as hyped and standing behind it when it doesn't.
