Nexus S, worth it? Or wait?

Hey team,

I'm a first time Android user and was going to go purchase a Nexus S tomorrow. However, I've heard that even though it's great, there will be some new phones coming out in the near future that will start making it look like a chump.

I know if you wait for one phone then you'll always be waiting for the next big thing.... but I'm still curious. We have things like the playstation phone and phones with the Tegra 2 coming out soon.

Point is, should I wait, or just cave in and get the Nexus S?

The Nexus S is the greatest right now. So if that's what you're into then go for it. I will be hanging on to my evo for a bit more.

It really depends what you're looking for. The nexus line of phones will always receive new OS updates first. They might not be top of the line hardware, but they're no slouch. I had a N1 since they were available and just upgraded to the NS.

There are lots of new phones coming out that will have better hardware than the NS, but will also take awhile to get updates. So it's a trade off. New hardware or fast OS updates.
