I have a nexus s update to ice cream when i turn it on after 10 seconds it turns off. There is a way to extract photos from recovery mode? To fix it's ok to restore it to from the recovery mode by selecting wipe data/factory reset?

No you can't access the memory easily from the Recovery menu.

When you do a factory reset it doesn't delete the contents of the SD Card memory, only the OS and related apps and data. DO NOT select anything else in the Recovery menu, just the wipe data/factory reset. Other settings may erase the SD Card contents.

If you don't mind losing your settings, downloaded apps, texts, etc., then yes a reset will reset the phone to original setup with the current OS version you have installed. Your photos, songs, videos, etc., will not be deleted. You will have to setup the phone again like it was new, unless you have opted for google backup. Once you go through the initial setup screens, you can plug in the phone and download your photos.
