Help Nexus YouTube app problem

I purchased a nexus s with the YouTube app that does not work. I can't uninstall it and it does not show up in my app tray. I need help any ideas?!!

mine also,you tube,kick back ,live wallpapers Vs are not working ,not eraseable etc..???
 
Everything else works except the YouTube app on mine. Thanks for the. Reply, let's hope someone on this forum can help us.
 
I finally found an answer and fixed YouTube on my nexus s. You need to back up your data and factory reset your phone and then it will work. Mine is working fine now.
 
My youtube app was 0kb when i got my nexus but every video in youtube played just fine in the browser. Now however every video I try to open is just a green image while the audio plays :S (Now youtube app is 500kb dunno if these are related)
 
I also couldn't launch youtube app in my Nexus S with 2.3.4 android.

It seems here that was a shortcut issue, I just deleted the shortcut, went to app list, created another identical shortcut and now it works finely.
