NFC cards

So my college uses NFC cards to let students in. I always lose my card and I've noticed that my phone has NFC option (nexus 5).

Is there a way to scan and simulate my card on the phone, so I don't have to carry the card around?

Maybe possible, but it might depend if the access system is using established ISO technology, or is using something completely proprietary.

So they are mutually compatible. What it really needs is an app that can replicate the passive RFID token you use for access.

I pay for my lunch and dinners with an RFID card in the canteen. So there's no cash. Many subways use RFID ticketing as well. Would be nice if we could use our phones for this. Instead of carrying around these cards.
