Help NFC SmartTags

Hi guys, I've just read this.

Hands on with the Sony Xperia S, P and U ? reghardware

His idea of setting an NFC tag to automatically send a text to the girlfriend to say goodnight is genius!

Does anyone have any plans on how they're going to use the SmartTags (if at all)?

Received my tags this morning, setting them up was easy, just a case of turning on nfc and holding the tag close - then you can set up which actions you want to initiate. There doesn't seem to be a great amount you can do but I guess that'll change with updates and that.

ok i must be being a dope, i cant get the tag to work to go onto bluetooth and gps and loud ? it saves them as the actions but do you still have to physically press the little star on the tag icon on the screen ???

either that or i am missing something fundamental in the point of having an automated tag ?

No you just put your tag near the middle of your phone james, just make sure your NFC is turned on
