NFC tags and using apps difficulty

Using NFC Task Launcher with NTAG203 NFC tags. I can get it to function for W-Fi, Mobile Data and Bluetooth. I seemingly cannot get it to accept apps such as camera, Local etc to function. What could I be doing wrong?

Could you try to explain in a little more detail as to what your trying to achieve with regards to the camera & local functions?

Currently I have it working OK in respect of entering car 1) Switch on Bluetooth and 2) switch on Mobile Data."
I wanted to add to these functions the "Local apps. I select "Local" from the dropdown list but it does not show that it has been added on the tag content and does not function when swyping, so I must assume that the shortcut has not been transferred to the tag, - or am I up a gum tree?

I was also trying on a separate tag to create a GPS function but I gather that this is not possible without rooting the phone that I do not wish to do at this time.

I should add that I am using NFC Task Launcher.

Hmm, when I add, "Local", it adds a "Launch activity" task content item. When I scan it, it brings up the Google Local app...

At my first attempt it did display "launch Activity" but that no longer appears. Perhaps I have corrupted the tag in some way. How can I format the tag, if one can, or should I try another tag?

You should be able to wipe the data clean off your tag in NFC Task Launcher. I haven't used that program in a month so I cant tell you exactly how to do it but know that the capability is there.
