Which are the best, where are they cheapest, how do you use them and what will you do with them?

Well they cost about $15 on Amazon but remember that you NEED to buy the pre-formated ones. As for what you use them for, it's up to you. Put the phone in silent, open websites or apps, etc. There are lots of apps on the Play Store that will allow you to program the tags too. I think it would be cool to embed one in a wall with plaster and have it give a random message.

Tagsfordroid.com is where I got mine.

I have one placed under my front door light switch plate that turns on/off WiFi as I enter/leave the house

I had thought that this would relate to the Nexus 7 but it's been moved without explanation. Thanks for the replies though guys.

I wasn't the staff member that moved it, but generally if the conversation isn't specific to your device it doesn't belong there. The lounge is the perfect place for a question like that.
