That's my understanding as well. There is a lot of surrounding land there and it's quick access to the interstate. The new practice facility and staff headquarters is to be near Olathe Ks. as I understand. The Olathe Chiefs doesn't quite have the same ring as the KC Chiefs lol. I doubt there is a name change involved in the 20-25 mile migration.
I won't miss driving through KC to get to the ballparks but the move isn't going to save me any time. It might even take a bit longer just because of the highways.
