What exactly are you using them for? If they're outdoorsy/hiking shoes then sure, those look fine. Anything else gets a no from me.
 
In the black and not the dark brown. The stitching kills the dark brown. Since I like on and not the other I have abstained from voting.
 
If its for everyday, casual use... its a big no for me but like wool said, if its for outdoorsy use, then they're quite nice
 
I think they look bad. But I'm not wearing them, so if you like them, get them, who cares if the final vote ends up being 80% saying they hate them?
 
I wouldn't be caught live in them. Now if you want to track down my corpse when I die and lace them up, I don't suppose there's much I could do about it.

IMHO these are way too expensive!! I buy my shoes at discount stores. And occasionally at Sports Authority with their 25% Off coupons, but there is no way I'm spending that much money on a pair of casual shoes.
 
I'md with woop and vihzel, for a purpose (outdoor walking etc) yeah they're good......otherwise its a big no from me too.

p.s. saying that, I LIVE in flipflops....difficult really living in England and our passion for rain, but I am obsessed with flipflops, different colours and styles and designs, and curse the winter (but then I live in my UGGS)..so maybe I'm not the best person to ask

Flip flops and UGGS are just as bad as those god awful shoes the OP polled us about.
 
The whole time I was thinking these would end up being those goofy 5-fingered shoes (yes that's what they are called) which is basically an overpriced wetsuit for your foot with little cut-outs. People swear by them and say they are the best thing ever. I think they look plain ridiculous.

Oh, as for the shoes you are ACTUALLY looking at, I don't think they look too bad. I wouldn't buy a pair for myself, but only because they aren't my style. I also tend to look in the sale/clearance bins to get brand names cheap. $110 for shoes is a bit much IMO. I do replace them more frequently than most do though, I suspect.
 
Guess I'll be the first to say- i like em and I'd buy them if it wouldn't mean id starve for a week or three ;)
 
If I'm going to spend $110 on outdoors shoes I'll go to EMS and get REAL hiking boots. I was never a fan of that style sole (the clear "gum" sole) so I'll have to vote NO.
 
they look alright as of the design but i really dont like the sole, it looks to much like a hiking shoe or smaller boot.
