night stand dock

I had the night stand dock for my d1 and dx, but not the db. How can I get to that clock screen?

Download/install "Bionic Dock" from the Market.

It sucks to use as a bedside clock. The damn thing lights up the room even with the brightness set to the lowest level. I only have to complaints about the phone, one is this one and the other is the crappy battery time. Off the charger for 6.5hrs and down to 20% battery left.

A) Use the app called "Bedside"
B) Root and freeze all the bloatware with Titanium Backup Pro. I'm getting about 15 hours with quite a bit of use.

Did you try lowering the nighttime brightness level setting to the lowest level? Its in the dock settings when you press menu while in the bedside dock mode. Mine barely lights up the room at all. Make sure you give it about a minute in the dark too as the softkey backlight should turn off.

I just turn it off the alarm will still work. But I don't watn to knwo the time while I sleep.
